Steve Smith - Something to say

Steve Smith

I am a survivor of Childhood Sexual Abuse.

Between the ages of 6-14 I was sexually assaulted by a member of my family.

I should have been safe and secure, instead I was placed in the most vulnerable position imaginable.

I have never reported my abuse to the Police as I refuse to become just a statistic.

I learnt many years ago to turn the negatives into positives and I have spent many years working in Child Protection in order to help children who have gone through similar experiences to me.

I now also provide mentorship to victims/survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse.
