I was born into a family where incest and child abuse was normalised for generations.

I fell prey to my own father and older brother’s uncontrolled lust between the ages of 2 and 8.

My family was also an active member of a Sikh cult where I was repeatedly preyed upon between those ages.

Because I was already being abused at home, my family knew about the sexual abuse in the cult but chose to “laugh it off” instead.

Between the ages of 2 and 8 I was raped by multiple men including my own father and brother.

It was an open secret in the tight knit community that I grew up in. My mother still protects the rapists in the house and the cult.
