Lisa Gillard - Something to say

Lisa Gillard

I was 4 years old when the abuse of my small body began ,it was an outline of a tall scary man who would enter most nights.

My family became completely disjointed and toxic.

As the eldest I was protective of my sibling needing her to be safe.

I did tell my mother , I was told I dreamt it. My mother to this day is complicit.

I now have my own beautiful family five children and a very supportive husband.

We have both endured hell during the process of the legal systems not being there and they hell of healing .. Flashbacks, cptsd ,unable to work.

I am now going back to study .. I am still working towards justice for this little Lisa, and others she deserves her voice to be heard, we all do.

NO more Silence I will endeavour to keep speaking for myself my family and many who cannot and who didn’t make it.
