EVERYONE HAS

something
to say

  /  Daniel Reid

Daniel Reid

I’m Dan, I run mens walking groups which are focused around making it easier for guys to open up and discuss their struggles in a non judgemental safe space.

I started the group around 6 months ago after my own struggles with mental health.

I have always had feelings of not being good enough. After eventually starting therapy and starting to work through my thoughts this helped me to open up discussions with other men around me.

I then began to realise that some of the closest men to me in my life had mental health issues that we had never discussed.

When I began to become more comfortable at being vulnerable I realised that this gives other guys permission to talk about their struggles without the stigma, shame and perception that they are weak which is enforced by society.

The group’s have grown which gives me hope that we can start to change how men and their mental health is perceived.
