Arwen Rose - Something to say

Arwen Rose

At the age of two years old, I started being physically and sexually abused by my own “father”.

I grew up with an amazing mother and family around me, but I still had issues whilst growing up with trust, feeling safe, and feeling loved. I also suffered with my mental health as soon as I hit my teen years.

He went over 20 years without having to answer for what he did and was allowed to live a normal life with no consequences for his actions. So, in 2019 I went to the police and reported the abuse, and the case is still ongoing.

Fast forward to 2020, and I decided I’d had enough of children being abused and exploited online and in real life every single day, which is when Child Protection Project was founded.

I promised to do everything in my power to help spread awareness to help better educate people on the signs to look out for and to encourage other survivors that they have a voice and I wanted to provide a safe space for them to use it.

The survivor community will always be strong!
