Conversation

The prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation needs to be a conversation. In classrooms, in staff rooms, in living rooms. Wherever adults are responsible for a child.

I’m Jeremy Indika. Former McLaren design engineer. Speaker. Educator.

Through lived experience and storytelling, my work helps people understand what abuse can really look like in everyday situations.

WHY THIS WORK, IN THIS WAY

I help people understand why a child might not say anything. What it actually feels like from the inside. And what kind of adult someone needs to be in those moments. Silence is what keeps harm hidden. Most of what I do is help people break it. Policies don’t teach that part. It comes from the people who’ve lived it.

SESSIONS

BOOK A SESSION

Each session is built around who’s in the room: the age, the setting, what they need from it.

Primary school children

Sessions children take part in, not just sit through.

Secondary school and college students

Real conversations about grooming, exploitation, and the things young people are actually navigating.

ADULTS WHO WORK WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Helping the people who safeguard children recognise what often gets missed, and respond with confidence.

EXPLORE THE WORK IN YOUR OWN WAY

A podcast, community, free resources, real stories, and places to follow along. Whether you’re a parent, carer, professional, or someone who simply wants to understand more, there are different ways to listen, learn, share, and be part of this work.

An ongoing exploration of abuse, prevention, and the silence that surrounds both.
Free to watch, share, and use. For anyone wanting to understand more.
A community sharing real stories from real people, so others know they’re not alone.
Daily posts, short clips, and conversations across social media.

Professionally filmed videos

When I began this work in 2018, I invested heavily in producing professionally filmed videos. At that stage, I was experimenting with creative ways of explaining what I was experiencing in my own journey, alongside different ways of approaching and understanding this subject.

a platform for shared voices

After gaining confidence through sharing my own story, I wanted to create a space where others could do the same. Something to Say is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), centred on sharing experiences, collective learning and the belief that silence can be broken together.

Sponsor A School

Some schools contact me to book a session and tell me, straight away, that they have no budget.

Sponsor a School exists for those schools. It lets people who believe in this work bring it to children whose schools couldn’t otherwise afford it.
