I was abused both physically and sexually by my father – from 9 yrs old until I was 18.

I lived in fear at home and was threatened that my father would harm my family if I ever told.

He told me I deserved the punishments and I believed him.

He got me pregnant and forced an abortion when I was 13.

I never told anyone until I left and never sought therapy until I was 57.

I wish someone, anyone , told me I could tell.
