I was 13 years old when the grooming began. Low self esteem and a somewhat invisible personality left me a prime target.

The first one was in his 40’s, from then on it went to his friends, then others in the community.

It lasted until adulthood. I now have C-PTSD and still suffer from the trauma, but I’m a lot stronger than I was previously.

Shame kept me quiet for so long, but the shame is not mine to hold anymore.
